Hole Description

The first hole of the award-winning Fazio designed course at Aberdeen Golf & Country Club is a serene par 4 that allows you to ease into your round.   That said, there is an out of bounds right if you seriously slice it and an out of bounds left if you really yank it.  Drive your ball anywhere near center and you’ll avoid the waste bunkers on the left and the fairway bunkers on the right, putting you in the ideal position for a mid or short iron into the two-tiered green.  Guarded by bunkers, a well-placed shot will avoid the grass bunkers located to the right of the green and you’ll be on your way to starting off with a solid par, perhaps even a birdie.
